Preserving Florida's Rooftop Solar Industry!

More than 40,000 people are employed by the solar industry in Florida, from knowledge-based services and government roles to wholesale trade and construction jobs. Currently, Florida is ranked as the 4th largest rooftop solar industry in the U.S., powering nearly 800,000 Florida homes.

What’s happening now?

Strong net metering policies are extremely important in increasing the economic viability of rooftop solar. Proposed changes to net metering in SB 1024 & HB 741 would decimate Florida's growing rooftop solar industry, resulting in the loss of thousands of solar jobs., and significantly impacting local companies. On top of that, this would be a huge blow to Florida homeowners and takes away their right to adopt solar.

How can you help?
